This loft is located in the last floor (50th) of the tallest building in Brazil (Orion Complex), located in the city of Goiania, in central Brazil. All the pipes where painted, to maintain the industrial style. A vertical vegetable garden grows on the walls of the kitchen all the way to the living room.
Tucked away in a quiet West London mews, this radical refurbishment of a mid-terrace property, was designed to be more conducive with family life. The design was driven by a desire to enlarge and reorder the property to create a large, open space for the family to spend time together, with an emphasis on arranging the spaces to be interconnected at different levels.
This weekend house is located on a beautiful wooded site on Cedar Creek Reservoir. The project program included the design of a main residence, guest pavilion, storage barn and various ancillary architectural features. The goal of the design was to provide an artful and low maintenance retreat that would blend in with the site.
Casa Arturo is located in Mar del Plata, Argentina. This house responds to the requirements of a young family, who prioritizes the privacy and the relationship with the green areas. Bearing in mind those premises, the design tries to create a limit from the street, which results in a simple façade.
Throughout the Belvedere penthouse, special attention has been paid to concealing mechanical services and creating a harmonious whole.
We built a Wormhole above Bond Street by invading a historic structure with futuristic bits to create a world within a world: new inside of old, dark inside of bright, minimal inside of maximal. The Bond Street apartment is defined by a complete change of style, form, lighting, and material on all surfaces from floor to ceiling.
What do you do when you are faced to reuse a small, mediocre, 100 years old structure, non-Landmarked, which has been altered and stripped of numerous details? do you preserve everything for the sake of it or do you change “something” giving new significance to the building?
