Carvalhal House is a single family house, composed of two separate rectangular volumes, parallel to each other and to the access road to the West.
Large openings on every level of the Joya Villas make the building seem lightweight and they connect the inhabitants to the surrounding natural environment. A delicate timber staircase appears to float from one floor to the other, suspended by the finest steel cables.
The Ranchero is a contemporary northwest escape that enables family and friends to socialize, recreate and relax in the surrounding natural environment. The exterior is sheathed in Cor-Ten steel with a tall concrete skirt to protect the house throughout the winter.
