Hamilton house is a beguiling residence. The exterior of the low-slung building could hardly be more simple, but is also highly suggestive; the interior is relaxed, but the planning is also well-controlled.
The original Schindler Residence was designed by FJ McCarthy for a corner lot near the top of Potrero Hill overlooking downtown San Francisco. The modernist home was designed to capture light from all floors with plenty of windows.
The De La Canardière residence was designed to enable a sister and brother to meet as a family on special occasions and to unwind in contact with nature. This project sprouted along the shores of a lake up in the Laurentians in a wooded area with a significantly consistent slope.
Set as a new Parisian temple for mixology dedicated to Gin & Tonic, Tiger unfurls its wooden structure on the two levels of the venue. The staggered setting of timber weaves the bar, the staircase, the seating booth and benches as well as the counters.
Eleven Spitalfields is located to the rear of the Dyson House and Gallery project, which is the residence of Chris Dyson and his wife, Sarah. This structure was originally built in 1840, and consisted of the king trusses, supporting piers and large lantern rooflight we see at ground floor level today.
The 150 sqm apartment covers the entire last floor of a newly built block of flats; it has a spacious terrace (around 60 sqm) and a smart partitioning, so we didn’t need to make radical changes in this aspect.

The design of the interior lighting and furniture was chosen to compliment the style of the architectural fit-out – with bold accents of colour, metalwork details and form to lift the atmosphere and enhance the hierarchy of spaces within the new open plan layout of the Patterned house.
