Known as the Edge of Rainforest, this modern coastal house has been updated to reflect the coastal location throughout, with soft neutral colours, smoked oak floors and white lining boards in joinery.
This rammed earth house for a young family is arranged in 3 distinct wings, each with a different orientation for sun, view and connection to the landscape. The construction includes rammed earth walls, which are formed in-situ and provide both the interior wall finish and exterior cladding in its single solid mass.
Architects were assigned to design a corner villa in an urban finished civil work. In here, series of apartments were finished civil work and sold many years ago. Many of them have not been used and damaged by years when the urbanization is ahead of the need of people.
Standing amongst developer’s standard houses in a cluster of a high-end residential complex, the S Residence aims to bring a new perspective of a modern home, that is comfortable, efficient, and practical yet visually pleasing.
Rolling topography, open fields and woodlands comprise a 24 acre site in Rappahannock County, Virginia where this new house is located. Extensive site investigation, including erecting scaffolding at various locations, resulted in the placement of the house high on one of the hills, overlooking a meadow at the base of woodlands.
The 80 sqm long strip apartment (its length is 19 m and its width 3.70 m only), located in central of Tel Aviv, intended for a holiday home town for a family who likes to entertain has transformed by Interior designers Yael Perry, Dafna Gravinsky and architect Amir Navon into a minimalist airy space punctuated by delicate black & white grid and furnishings.
This vacation home situated in Jean Nouvel’s Le Nouvel Ardmore condominium was designed with the goal to immerse the owner in a holiday mood.
