When Arnold Worldwide/Havas decided to move their headquarters into the historic Burnham Building in Boston’s Downtown Crossing, Hacin+Associates collaborated with Sasaki Associates on the redesign and conversion of the 5th through 8th floors into modern workspace for the company.
Behind an elegant Victorian facade in Prahran, this chic renovation creates a refined living space for a young family. Infused with classic Parisian style, the finely detailed kitchen became a hub for the family’s day-to-day activities, with every element configured to maximise functionality.
In terms of construction, the Introverted house is understood as a game of planes, it does not seek to be a language of boxes or volumes. Thus, the aforementioned concrete walls are the boundary planes towards the ground
The goal of this project was to transform an existing storage on the roof of a residential apartment to a livable place. Considering the fact that existing space was very limited, design team initial concept was to incorporate all the residential required spaces in such a small space.
This modern Brazilian home is located in a rural area, 40km away from the city center of BrasÃlia. The topography has a slight downward slope towards the back of the lot, where a valley with native vegetation dominates the view.
The Schultz house is a primary single-family residence of approximately 3900 sf that was designed for an active couple in Vail, Colorado. Having previously designed a renovation to the owner’s successful clothing shop in Minturn, the couple returned to Blueline Architects for the design of their new home.
Room No Roof is situated on a prominent corner of West London. It is a house extension and refurbishment of a 1950s residential building on Portobello Road that reacts to the surrounding environment, including the local property market.
The T-shaped form of Rimrock responds to the unique typography of the bluff upon which it is situated. Sited at the edge of a cliff, the house straddles two sides of wash atop a stable outcropping of tough, slow-cooled volcanic basalt.
