Lagranja Design recently completed the Abat café: a contemporary, modern, fresh yet low-cost project. In a former bank office, Lagranja made reality the dream of expansion of a young entrepreneur who already owns another café in Manresa.
Designed for an artist and an engineer, the Artist house is located mid-block in a downtown neighborhood surrounded by common Seattle cottages and bungalows. The owners have listed several additional criteria for their new home: a contemporary style, but not out of place with the rest of the Capitol Hill neighborhood
New Cross Lofts consists of 2 bespoke lofts and 2 work studios designed by the team at Chan and Eayrs. The lofts are flooded with natural light, complemented further by the limed natural tones of the panelled interior and white washed walls.
This tired Victorian house was given a complete re-design with new addition completing the vision. Although the house uses fully automated technology, it’s disguised by a warm, textural palette. A timber ribbon of floor and wall travels through the house creating a harmonious, seamless transition from old to new.
The challenge for Metaforma Group designers was to combine the spatial needs of both Investors. One of them is the collector of red Ferrari cars, the other one – music disks.
Rocky House represents the clients appreciation for clean simple designs, with a close connection to the landscape. Natural materials of quarried bluestone, cararra marble and rosewood represent a minimal palette that unifies all spaces throughout the house, providing a backdrop for unique experiences throughout the design.
