Eden Locke aparthotel, which is located on George Street in the heart of central Edinburgh, opens in June 2017. Locke is a design-led aparthotel for those who want to challenge the status quo, and experience the unique and authentic. It will offer a choice of 72 studios and suites with signature views onto George Street and across Edinburgh rooftops to the Firth of Forth.
Many of the ground and lower ground floor studios have access to shared enclosed outdoor terraces. All studios and suites will have the acclaimed design-led Locke look and feel including the Locke signature L shaped sofa.
The building blends Locke’s distinctive design with its original heritage. Its classic Georgian façade has been restored and period features retained whilst evolving the former office into a destination that meets the needs of today’s traveller.
The spacious Lobby Bar Hyde & Son, like its predecessor at Leman Locke in London, Treves & Hyde, will function as a third wave coffee lounge by day and artisan bar by night.
Spearheaded by one of the UK’s foremost coffee aficionados James Wise, Hyde & Son aims to be Edinburgh’s social epicentre where like-minded locals and travellers can meet.
Located next door to Tigerlily on George Street, Eden Locke is located on one of Edinburgh’s retail destinations, set in the heart of the New Town. Designated a world UNESCO site, George Street offers an expansive array of restaurants, bars, cafes and boutique shops with Edinburgh Castle and many other attractions just a short walk away.
Eden Locke is also situated within easy reach of many of Edinburgh’s major business areas, and is designed to meet the needs of its fast-growing corporate travel market which spans the city’s traditional industries such as finance and emerging ones including tech and creative.
