Razvan Barsan + Partners have designed Steampunk House, located in Pipera, Romania.

Description by Razvan Barsan: The interior invites us on a steampunk journey aboard a ship wreck. The design is inspired by the clients’ personalities and interest in world travels. The interior, continuing the line of the exterior, belongs to an industrial style and theme.

Exposed concrete, glass, metal, brick, wood combine so as to generate elements that can be realized even by the owners themselves.

These composition elements are combined with authentic and vintage maritime pieces – the fireplace is an old boat tower, the decorations are genuine metal paddles, the shelves are old steel pipes and the entrances have metallic porthole doors.

With such a conceptual design, the interior manages to preserve its value and identity, even when its permutable elements, like the living room couch or the beds, are replaced or removed. Visit Razvan Barsan + Partners
