El Peumo house is by a sandy plateau surrounded with pines and cypresses, receiving moderate winds and overlooking the Pacific Ocean afar. The project is conceived as a central cabin that gradually opens to the landscape in 4 symmetric fronts, following a continuous constructive module of 2 feet.

Casa Algamar by WMR Arquitectos and UNOATRES Arquitectos

Casa Algamar is based upon a large retaining wall in exposed concrete, which is founded in the dune, containing the sand and supporting a wooden structure. Thereupon, a second permeable skin wraps the whole structure to protect the interior premises’ livability, controlling heat and light.

Reinforced Concrete House by Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

Reinforced Concrete House / Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

This project is a reinforced concrete house composed of a succession of longitudinal and transverse beams that work together to generate a single structural piece. As always, we prefer to inhabit a structure instead of structuring a room. In this way, we consider the technical feasibility of a project as its actual design resolution; feasibility is not separate from project design.
