A full refurbishment with rear and loft extensions transformed this small terraced property into a light and contemporary home.
The clients, a young couple with two children, wanted a contemporary home that suited their needs as a family. The brief called for a four bedroom, two bathroom house with an open-plan living area and separate music room.
We were tasked with a brief to transform a dated, 1970’s bungalow in the Peak District into a striking contemporary home which maximised the property’s aspect looking out over the Chatsworth estate.
Victoria Gardens in Prahran is a hidden respite for locals from the dense bustling neighbourhood. Our approach was to further promote a sense of sanctuary throughout the design of the house by engaging with the adjacent park context.
