Studio Idhea renovated a 1936 Villa by Vladimír Grégr called The Indian Ship. Inspired by the haciendas and villas of Californian movie stars, this villa is a good example of the aerodynamic functionalism with its distinctive conical external walls and wood siding.
This multi-generational family home is designed on a plot which offers a view of the opposite forested slope. This view is preserved both for those entering the top end of the street from the forest, as well as for those who live on the opposite side of the street, as the height of the house is rather low.
The first house designed and built by our architect studio is located on a small piece of land between Kopřivnice and Štramberk. It was built in a former recreation area where a large, old Chestnut tree was growing in an overrun field. This beautiful tree was a focal point for this property and the house became known as Chestnut House.
Černá Voda, a small mountain lodge, is situated next to the “old” ski run near the Pomezní Boudy border checkpoint in the Krkonoše mountains. The original lower ski-lift station was replaced with a new wooden structure on the confluence of Kolben and Černá Voda streams, the latter of which the chalet is named after.
Colours are minimalist – the one-story family house is black form the outside and the interior is predominantly white – based on our long-standing inspiration by Scandinavia.
Pipca bistro is situated in a new-rising „gastro“ district in the street Milady Horákové, Prague – Letná. The leading part is played by chicken – pipca (tweety :)) and the way of cooking: thanks to its size and noticeable design, the grill called rotisserie is the heart of the bistro.
A Lasagneria bistro specialized in Italian lasagne is situated in Korunní street, at the district Královské Vinohrady, Prague. Former grocery store is characterized with its large display windows and light interior.
