The challenge was to change the standard plan of the apartment, which did not fit the needs of the clients and to customize the space to their dreams. We wanted to create a sense of inviting and spacious space to the relatively small entrance area, 55 sqm.
Rush and reflection are the two contradictory vital elements on which Namelok has based the entire design of the museum cafe in the Anne Frank House. Of course, we were inspired by the place’s history: especially the post-war period ….
The plot just outside Stockholm is located in a scenic area where mostly weekend homes are inserted among pine trees and rocks. Six Walls House became early in the process a working title. The plot is long and narrow and extends between the road and the water.

A minimalist apartment on the outskirt of Prague with an area of 52 m2 with a garden area of 25 m2 reacts to the user’s active life in the wild nature and his interest in technologies. The unique design combines both.
This project intends to refurbish a single-family house, severely affected by pathologies resulting from defective construction options. In addition of trying to correct the existing pathologies, we also intend to rectify the dysfunctions of spatial organization.
The transformation of this duplex located in the borough of Plateau Mont-Royal into a single-family home, is defined by the creation of a central core around which the spatial organization is defined to allow natural light into the heart of the house.
