Studio BV worked with Salo – A Korn Ferry Company to create spaces that support meeting with clients and collaborative work sessions. “The design of the Salo-Korn Ferry office is all about meaningful connections,” said Betsy Vohs, Studio BV Founder and CEO.
The Shale is a new luxury apartment complex located in the historic Longfellow community of Minneapolis. Exuding comfort and elegance through sustainably designed apartments and thoughtfully planned amenities, the Shale makes day-to-day living easier and eco-friendly.
Envisioned as a modern ranch, the Theodore Wirth ranch home rests comfortably on its hillside location. Immediately adjacent to the property, a densely wooded park creates a retreat-like feel during the summer months, while revealing the Minneapolis downtown skyline and its close proximity to the city throughout the winter season.
Modern design is often framed as a process of distilling architecture down to its very essence, and creating a form directly responsive to the occupant’s functional needs. The design of the Sheridan Residence looks to capture just this attitude, with a purity of form and intent inherent in its simplicity.
Grounded by its singular direction and enhanced by innovative details, the Shadow Box may eventually cast its “shadow” onto our future work, extending the knowledge we’ve gained and the lessons learned.
This sixth floor Uptown penthouse condominium overlooks the Minneapolis lakes, Uptown area and downtown beyond. Designed for a young professional the space is intended to distinguish the private and public realms through sculptural spatial gestures.
Local architect Charlie Lazor of Lazor Office envisioned this inspiring custom home as a stack of blocks, and played with direction and opacity on each to produce open and enclosed interior spaces.
