With an eclectic approach, Marengo Interiorismo managed to give a pronounced personality, a warm and welcoming atmosphere to this apartment from Madrid. The architecture and interior design relies on many original structural elements and on a great abundance of vibrant tones, entirely highlighted by the generous white.

The contrasts are at every turn and they are resulted from the joining of the modern style with the rustic one, from the presence of the retro and vintage accents with loft characteristics. The same variety of stylistic approaches it is encountered also at carpets, tapestries, pillows, quilts, where we can observe the presence of leather upholstery and also the Spanish popular models. The animals’ leathers coexist in a harmonious symbiosis with modern quilts and a variety of pillows with different designs.

Marengo has exploited the visual contrast between the white painted wall and the unplastered one where the brick is in plain sight. The entrance into the living room is through the dining area, surrounded by two rustic supporting pillars made from wood and by two metal columns of Corinthian model. An old fireplace is the central element in the living room and it completes the contribution of the rustic to this symbiosis of styles. The kitchen and bathroom follows a different design line from the living room and dining room, being entirely modern. It is worth mentioning the tub with feet that makes reference to the classical models. Working with a variety of appurtenances and heterogeneous decoratives, Marengo designers have managed to find the balance and achieve harmony in this apartment from Madrid.
