RaeRae house is a new five-bedroom family home which incorporates the front of two pre-existing terrace homes. A glazed entry, set back between the heritage buildings, unites the two and forms the gateway to the new build, surprising in light and scale.

This is the rehabilitation and expansion of a building in the historic center of Leiria for two- family housing. The total recovery of the existing façade is based on a very common language of the city of Leiria, with the openings in bordeaux and white colors, surrounded by stonework.

The design of Fox River Residence is driven by the site, allowing each room to have expansive views of the landscape. The main living spaces are created by intersecting rectangular volumes flanked by a double-height entry space anchoring the house.
