This cruciform shaped house was evolved to house a family of six. The plot is located at Bopal (Ahmedabad) in a gated community at the end of the internal access road. The house is an expression in Dhrangadhra stone.
Carney Logan Burke was tasked to design an entire compound for a young family relocating from the San Francisco Bay Area to Wilson, Wyoming. The collaborative approach resulted in an open, airy, nature-inspired Wyoming family compound that makes the most of its site while meeting the needs of an active family.
The interiors of the Golden Oak apartment are made in a slightly more restrained manner, rather than the boutiques of the world brand, but at the same time they are not inferior in elegance. The overall concept of the project is based on heat-cold contrasts: colors, textures, surface finishes and textiles.
The bearing structure of the Santorini summer house has been made by reinforced concrete. Local black stone, bricks and thermal insulation have been used for the walls, as also colored earthy plaster for the coatings and the exterior floors.
