Pink, grey wall paint and golden frame furnishings brighten this 493 sq.ft pretty house in Hong Kong, which has been overhauled by Sim-Plex for a young lady. The client approached Sim-Plex to design the apartment to better suit her daily living sequence and reflect her personality. Make up table and a dress up corner are highlighted by her.
Three Piece House is a courtyard house, designed for a couple looking to downsize and live more simply. The project places a modest, single-storey house and a studio on its site. These buildings are skewed to follow the site’s boundaries, and cluster to create privacy on this exposed corner lot.
In the seemingly remote, granite hills of this northeast Victorian farm, Templeton was commissioned to create a weekend getaway. The Matilda house is situated on the same site that our client spent his childhood and is therefore layered with sentiment.
Pipca bistro is situated in a new-rising „gastro“ district in the street Milady Horákové, Prague – Letná. The leading part is played by chicken – pipca (tweety :)) and the way of cooking: thanks to its size and noticeable design, the grill called rotisserie is the heart of the bistro.
The Boulder Retreat’s program called for a modest but expandable residential program to be interpreted in an architectural language that is abstract rather than literal in referencing the ubiquitous “western log cabin.”
This skinny house is located in a growing neighbourhood, in one of the highest points of the city, which give a privileged view of it. Due to the small land area be consisted in 6,50 m X 27,80 m, the strategy was to restrict the program of basic needs in order to keep only the minimal needs by the family.
The owners of Digbeth’s much-loved craft beer and burger restaurant, Original Patty Men, wanted to open a bar in the adjacent unit for diners to enjoy a drink while they waited for a table during busy periods. But they were keen for Kilder bar to be more than just an overflow space and enlisted Faber Design & Architecture to create a bar with a clear, separate identity, with a very different look and feel to the restaurant.
