The SFA house is a refurbishment project that is faithful to the client’s specific requirements. Arqmov Workshop initially suggested a brand new project, given the previous (quite unfortunate) refurbishment work on the property.
The Split residence was designed with green practices in mind; LED lighting is used throughout, and photovoltaic panels are incorporated into the roof. The hulls are clad in a composite of rice husks, water, and mineral oil that simulates wood, but is far more robust and sustainable.

The La Pineda House is formed by three enclosures that, together with the porches, are articulated to leave an empty space (patios). In this house, a fourth element is suggested: the closed porch, an outside space in the interior, intended to be the access and main distributor of the house.
In close cooperation with the couple, architect Mette Lange designed this dream home. The result is a functional and modern wooden house with clean lines and a transparent design that offers a clear view of the surrounding reed forest, beach meadow and coast.
