A Lively Heart in the Historic Center
Right in Kiev’s old town, a young family enjoys a fresh take on city living. The 130 square‑meter home glows with bold colors and sharp lines. Because the plan stays open, daylight slips from one corner to the next. A roomy kitchen stands at the core, so family life happens where food, talk, and laughter meet.
Geometry and Color that Spark Joy
From the start, the design team chose daring hues. Deep teal meets warm terracotta, while sunny yellow lifts darker tones. Clean angles guide the eye, yet rounded forms soften the look. As a result, every room feels balanced and upbeat. Animal silhouettes step in as playful art, adding charm without clutter.
Materials that Tell a Story
Natural oak floors warm each step, and polished marble adds a cool touch under the lights. Rich textiles—cotton, velvet, and wool—invite you to sit and stay. Meanwhile, the sliding divider in the hall steals the show. Crafted by Kiev makers at Combinanta, its solid wood panel holds a large round glass. Slide it closed for privacy or open it and let the rooms breathe.
Dining with a View, Cooking in Style
Although the kitchen stays open, the dining room hides just behind it. Floor‑to‑ceiling windows frame the city, so meals come with a classic Kiev backdrop. Tall cabinets tuck gear away, keeping counters clear. Above all, the flow stays smooth. Parents cook, kids draw, and guests chat, all without missing a moment.
Function Meets Family Comfort
Storage lines the hallway, therefore shoes and coats vanish in seconds. Every bedroom uses soft light and muted shades to calm busy minds. Bathrooms repeat the marble‑wood mix, offering a mini spa at day’s end. Because each detail serves a need, the home feels both refined and easy to live in.
