The Aperture House by Studio P is a new home for a growing family that connects the comfort of a private dwelling with uninterrupted views of the Sydney city skyline encompassed within a quiet neighbourhood.
Cloud house is a private home located at Bondi Beach. The concept was to maximise the opportunity for light to interact with the surfaces of the house, like the facets of a cloud. The Cloud house is open towards the East of the site to benefit from the morning sun, while the internal courtyard allows sun throughout the day to flood the double height living area.
This new house in a dense, beachside suburb required clever management of privacy and views. The Coogee Beachside house, for a young family, was to be robust, liveable and light filled but with a layering of spaces that provided flexibility, separation and privacy.
