The Rock House Offers Access to a Wild and Untouched Nature

Built on the slope of Mount Shefford, the residence bridges an aerial view on one side and an ascending, rugged topography, populated by rocks and maples, on the other. The initial idea for this project was to merge with the mountain, to nestle into the terrain until it becomes one with the residence.

One Level Concrete House Providing Spaces for Leisure and Socializing

This one level concrete house is located in a quiet area of Brasilia’s outskirts. The aim was to construct a 280m² house to be mostly used during weekends, providing spaces for leisure and socializing. The major challenge was to distribute storehouse in a reduced plot area shaped in a trapezoid form and open to the greenery as much as possible.

Springing from the hillside, Riversbend is oriented around a lazy turn in the East Gallatin River. The sleek forms are embedded in the undulating site, prominent yet respectful of the natural hill crest, creating dynamic views as one moves through the landscape.
