Outward Bound, a recently renovated waterfront retreat located on Orcas Island in Washington State designed by the Seattle-based firm Heliotrope Architects. In updating the interior and exterior, the design firm opened up the home to scenic water and mountain views beyond which had been previously closed off.
The Anaz house lies adjacent to the plane-tree covered path, and can be understood as another pavilion along the way to the palace’s entrance sequence.
