Oriented in relation to the rolling hills of its site and views of surrounding mountain ranges, the Sleeve house is conceived as two elongated volumes – a smaller one sleeved into a larger – sitting on a cast-in-place concrete base.
The first house designed and built by our architect studio is located on a small piece of land between Kopřivnice and Štramberk. It was built in a former recreation area where a large, old Chestnut tree was growing in an overrun field. This beautiful tree was a focal point for this property and the house became known as Chestnut House.
The Bamboo house is oriented towards the prevailing winds which crosses the pool water and the vegetation of the gardens to penetrate the bedrooms, cooling the constant breeze and refreshing the interior from the strong tropical heat.
The Lakeview house is located in the Los Ríos Region, Chile, on land that faces the north shore of Lake Calafquén. The property is predominantly on a steep slope that runs into the lake.
The Broombank House is set into the banks of the sloped site and accessed via a single-track lane that arrives into a sunken entrance courtyard, offering glimpses of the views beyond. The brief from our client was to create a relaxed contemporary house within a reconsidered, ‘natural’ landscape that blurred the site boundaries to its neighbours and adjoining marshland.

Pyramid House sits on the shore of Lake Päijänne, in the Municipality of Sysmä (Finland). This Finnish retreat has a total gross floor area of 125 smq, split between ground floor and mezzanine floor.
