Located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Think Park was completed in 2015 by Thai studio Shma Company Limited.
Description by Shma: The Designer interpreted the design into different elements, Landscape architecture plays an important role in linking the Relevance between Eastin Tan Hotel and Think Park project to attract the visitors feeling for the unity of the 2 projects by using the inspiration from the abundant of mountains and natural scape of Chaing Mai city. This is conveyed through a design of natural curve that looks like Contour lines and tree rings. Those curves helped in creating the identity of the project which develops into landscape designs such as the terrace , planter , seat , etc. by regarding to localities, convenience of visitors and to create the right environment. For there more, the designer chooses nature material like Teng wood as the main material in order to create softness and harmony with environment.
Designing this project is not only presenting a new idea or creative element to the space, but also making use of the existing abundant space under the tree to take advantage of the shade the tree gives and to give the project a landmark. Inspiration from the nature of the topography of Chaing Mai like the paddy fields, flower garden and also reflecting the abundance of nature by using local and hybrid plants to create an interesting character to each space.
