Project: Apartment in Prague
Designer: Anton Medvedev
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Who does not love white? How much white can be used in an apartment? It is true that white requires more attention and is more difficult to maintain, but in the same time it turns the old into new, refreshes the space and supports light.
White is associated with brilliance, simplicity and rejuvenation and although it is apparently the handiest color, it denotes sophistication and elegance. It features a palette of soft greys, beige and white, while the exposed brick and washed oak flooring add texture and contrast. In the same time, the white interior can be classified as pretentious or even extravagant, much more if you have children, a cat or a dog.
An indoor green plant, some pillows, a generous curtain or a wooden floor can contribute with warmth and color to support and complement the dominant white. This is a great mix of traditional, industrial and modern, featuring industrial accents and tons of natural light, the home’s serene atmosphere is highlighted by the natural fabrics and tone throughout the space. If you like white, the following images present an apartment in Prague, Czech Republic, where several shades of white cooperate to give elegance to the space. This accomplishment belongs to the Ukrainian designer Anton Medvedev.
