Greencoat Capital, a leading investment manager dedicated solely to renewables, were looking to consolidate their office space in line with their growth strategy. They envisioned a collaborative space that could bring individuals together and encourage cross-pollination across their teams.
Greencoat Capital’s brief focused on shaping an engaging and inspiring office environment with the ability to foster a community and boost productivity. Having examined Greencoat Capital’s vision, the Oktra team developed, detailed and built a minimal, classic and intuitive workspace.
An open design encourages fluidity and movement around the workspace, while individual neighbourhoods are subtly distinguished, reflecting Greencoat Capital’s branding. A centralised suite of meeting rooms and breakout areas create a strong inbound, architectural statement and also allow for the external fenestration to be given to staff. This considered layout is not only designed to leave a lasting impression on clients, but has maximised the natural light across the working floor.
A sleek colour palette of greys and Greencoat Capital’s signature green references their connection to the natural world, while distinctly representing their brand image. With an intention to transition from a cellular structure to a more collaborative work environment, the new office design favours agile workspace and spacious meeting areas which cleverly encourage serendipitous interactions. Greencoat Capital’s new office design manifests their commitment to empowering and respecting their people and will help to shape the future of their business as it grows.
