The Californian company EPT Design has projected this beautiful Italian style garden starting from the owners’ desire to have a place where relaxation and joy prevail. The garden displays a noble beauty, a perfect balance between nature and decorative elements. The Italian style is confirmed by a historical and artistic charge and also by the geometric organization of the garden.
The space is divided in order to be aligned with the principal axes of the house and the garden seems like a natural extension of the house, all is emphasized as an unitary architectural concept The towering beauty of the ionic columns that support the outdoor living room is reflected upon the geometry of the site and lends prestige to the garden. The verdancy is punctuated by the playful elements, fountains, urns, sculptures and armillary. Hedges of clipped box, privet, juniper, citrus and laurel create a series of smaller spaces within this one acre landscape. Travertine and marble set a rich stage for filigreed planters and pools. Backdrops of lush green, climbing vines, and bursts of flowers frame stunning views and soften the garden’s formality. The garden was named Garden Filigree and while we are enjoying the photos, we appreciate the joy that EPT Design has brought to the owners by giving them this wonderful garden.
