New York architecture studio Dash Marshall has turned two Tribeca residences into one home – Raft Loft – connected by a hanging, blackened steel spiral staircase. We renovated the entirety of the ground floor, executed limited interventions to the second floor, and inserted a new staircase to connect the two spaces with a series of intermediate levels.

This apartment is in the same building, same area and type as A.D01 which we have done. The only difference is that A.D02 is symmetric with A.D01. But with the different needs of each customer we offer different space solutions.
The main areas of the LP residence, living room and bedrooms, open up towards the garden in a transverse direction to the wet areas. The elevated flooring, 45cm above the ground level, allows the front of the house to be used as a comfortable seating area facing the garden.
In the Salamanca house project we have moved the kitchen to the center of the house and we have eliminated most of the corridor linking the rooms and suppressing partition walls. The distinction between spaces has been made with furniture.
This modern summerhouse near São Paulo was built for a couple with three grown-up daughters. It had to conciliate the dichotomy between framing astonishing views to a golf course and woods towards the dark south and seeking abundant light on the street side, towards north.
