Piedra Toro is a 8,800 sf, 5-bedroom, 5-bath, spec home commissioned by a longtime collaborating general contractor who wanted a well-designed, contemporary home that could appeal to a wide range of people within a specific market of luxury home buyers.
The Cuernavaca house is the latest installment in an evolving constructed landscape on a two-acre family compound that is shared by the client and her sister. Nestled in a wooded lot, the home forms an ensemble with an existing pool house.
This net-zero cabin designed to be vacation home lies in a historic mining area in Washington State’s Cascade Mountains. Situated in a master-planned resort community, the house blends sustainable modern architecture with reclaimed rustic materials.
The project is a 220 sqm house located in a small kibbutz (Nir – Am) in the Gaza envelope. Despite the constant threat that inflicts the area, the residents (a young couple in their 30’s with a toddler, a baby and a beautiful golden-retriever) chose to build their home in the place where they were born and raised.
Located in the beautiful region of the Eastern Townships near the US border in Quebec, the Slender House Residence unfolds in a long linear volume. Nestled on the steep shores of Lake Memphremagog it opens-up onto a peaceful secluded bay.
To create a people-friendly office where they will enjoy staying during a week and where they will come on their own on Saturday or Sunday, without being forced to do so. A place where their personal and professional lives will intermingle harmoniously with each other.
The Somerville House Renovation started with a dark, 3 story single family home with great potential. The design intent was to maintain the original character of the 1860’s façade on the street, and yet open to the small urban garden and southern light offered by the back façade.
