When the clients of Malvern House said they wanted to create a statement stair in the addition to their home, we knew this would be a great collaboration. While celebrating the stair is not always the cheapest option, it’s testament to the impact great design can make.
To accommodate a large busy family, this semi-detached house was expanded into its twin, creating a much larger home while allowing for the future re-division of the building into two homes again.
Witta Circle house is a family beach home situated on the Noosa River. The design draws inspiration from Brazilian modernism, but seeks to ground itself within the local context, climate and culture. The occupation of the site is heavily defined by the landscape and water, both natural and curated.
The beauty of Terracotta house derives from the materials. Earthy red tiles, that respond in tone to the light throughout the day, spill down the walls to meet reclaimed brick.
