Timber Garden Pavilion

Timber Garden Pavilion / Black Line One Architecture Studio

Black Line One Architecture Studio has designed this timber garden pavilion in Melbourne, in a garden of olive trees. This compact addition forms a new connection to an existing mature garden. The project aims to preserve the rugged and luscious nature of the existing site while utilising it’s northern aspect, and providing a new living space for the clients.

Bougainvillea Row House 1

Bougainvillea Row House / Luigi Rosselli Architects

Bougainvillea Row House is a terraced house recently completed by Luigi Rosselli Architects. Sydney’s planners are considering the return of the terraced house, or row house, as a favoured residential building type. It is believed the terrace could be one solution to addressing housing affordability

Stirling House 4

Stirling House / Mac-Interactive Architects

Stirling House is a new-build house replacing two very narrow 2-storey weather-board cottages on the same lot but in a very derelict state. The project was completed by Sydney-based Mac-Interactive Architects. After much discussion with Heritage it was felt that it would not be possible to restore them to anything other than museum status as they could not be brought up to current BCA standards.
