Lincoln Road House is our latest project in the “county roads” of East Finchley. Following a visit to our Durham Road project while it was under construction, the homeowners Ed and Elena signed us up to help renovate and extend what was perhaps the last unloved house in the neighbourhood.
The house has recently been extended to include a super sleek concrete inspired kitchen and dining space. A truly unique space – the floor, kitchen island, dining table, and seating is all constructed from almost seamless concrete.
Being part of a semi detached house in a conservation area did provide some context to work in. This London brick house also acts, to some degree, as a gatekeeper to a small mews road along its flank wall.
The Pelham Road project was the complete refurbishment and extension of a dilapidated semi-detached house in South London. The clients wanted a bespoke four bedroom house and had some specific requirements, such as extending the ground floor to create a large and airy entertaining space.
Raw concrete, brick, timber, metal and light formed the underlying material pallet from our clients brief. Through a series of structural alterations this Victorian property was extended and opened out to form an elegant and light filled space …
Situated on the edge of a leafy garden square in Holland park, the Blue House is a Grade II listed Georgian, four storey, end of terrace house. Although almost in a state of ruin, the house had undeniable potential and Studio indigo set about resurrecting it to its former glory.
Located a short distance from leafy Holland Park, Kenure House is a unique modern dwelling comprising of a Victorian townhouse and two adjoining mews houses. London architecture studio TDO was invited by developer Echlin to create this contemporary home.
The Perf House design was driven by clients who wanted to bring some of the light and openness of their native Sardinia to central London. The scope involved the complete removal off all existing internal elements of this generic Georgian 5-storey terrace house in Belgravia, leaving a vast 6 sided internal volume.
