Located on a small residential site in the bayside suburb of Middle Park, this project sought to renovate and restore a single fronted Victorian terrace house as well as provide additional accommodation to the rear.
In a new coastal subdivision the Point Lonsdale house provides a sanctuary from the tough ocean winds. With potential retirement in mind for a couple with older children, this house is designed on a single level.
The Mt Eliza House is designed to be low maintenance and minimal fuss. Built with an eco-friendly brick alternative, Timbercrete externally, it appears much like any other brick veneer home on the street, but with a much smaller carbon footprint.
Located on a long and sloping site along the Mornington Peninsula, the McCrae Bush house is a dwelling that was inspired by its unique surrounding context of native bushland and the close proximity of Port Phillip Bay.
Warehouse Greenhouse is about the past and the future. It is a story of industrialisation and human occupation, and an attempt to reconcile these with the natural environment.
This 1940s semi-detached brick home in Flemington has been treasured by the same family since it was originally built. The current owner, the great grandnephew of the original owner, was keen to honour its heritage in as many ways as possible.
When the clients of Malvern House said they wanted to create a statement stair in the addition to their home, we knew this would be a great collaboration. While celebrating the stair is not always the cheapest option, it’s testament to the impact great design can make.
