Oak Furniture by Loft Kolasiński introduces Public Project, a handcrafted collection that showcases the studio’s commitment to timeless quality and artisanal design. The Polish studio first presented the series at DMY Berlin in 2015, later photographing it inside the Szczecin Philharmonic — the award-winning building that received the Mies van der Rohe Award.
Craftsmanship and Materials
Loft Kolasiński designs and produces each piece from solid oak wood, finishing the surfaces with natural oils that highlight durability and warmth. Skilled carpenters in Szczecin use traditional production methods, giving the furniture a sense of authenticity and long-lasting quality. Every detail reflects patience, precision, and respect for craft.
The Public Project Collection
The Public Project line features two mirrors, two chaise lounges, two coffee tables, one bed, and one wall cabinet with an integrated mirror. Loft Kolasiński created each piece to balance functionality with sculptural simplicity, making the collection versatile for contemporary interiors.
Availability
Customers can order the furniture on request, while Loft Kolasiński prepares to release the Public Project collection in their online shop. This step will allow more people to access the studio’s unique oak designs beyond custom commissions.
By combining traditional woodworking techniques with modern aesthetics, Oak Furniture by Loft Kolasiński transforms natural oak into furniture that feels both contemporary and timeless.
