The Maison Berri project is located near Jean-Talon market in Villeray, at the heart of the hustle and bustle of a sought-after neighbourhood of Montreal.
The structure consist of four main spaces on two levels: three bedrooms, common area and the terrace, center of the project.
The Three Trees House follows a longitudinal axis that goes through the different spaces, from the most public areas to the most private rooms, with the irruption of the patios marking the transition
The wall incorporates all storage and service requirements for the Marylebone Apartment apartment, including kitchen appliances and hanging cupboards, resulting in a highly efficient plan.
The project involves the refurbishment of two adjacent apartments into a single residential flat. The partition between the two spaces has been demolished, as well as the mezzanines, transforming the living area into a single elementary volume
The contemporary 2-storey dwelling is defined by white chromatic planes, which intersect with glass planes, and with black stone elements on the lower floor, whose black chromatic will contaminate the interior of the house.
