Inside a white box of 7.6 x 3.9 x 2.55m, three differently configured yellow objects are individually placed. As an immediate consequence, one´s physical experience of the previously empty white box has been dramatically altered.
Drawing upon Milan’s contemporary design landmarks—Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Corso Como 10, and Fondazione Prada—Parcel from Milan reinterprets the city’s avant-garde spirit within a 120 m² Kyiv apartment. Commissioned by a young family with one child, the project by Yuriy Zimenko embraces asceticism, visual lightness, and an artful minimalism that feels both refined and experimental.
Upon entering the door, you can see a row of white cabinets floating. On the right, there is an open cabinet where you can place coats and temporary items when going home and below which is the storage space reserved for the baby carriage.
The project was based on an existing edicule located near one of the lateral boundaries of the site. The initial program contained only one bedroom, a bathroom and a warehouse that totaled 24sqm,

The active zone of the Heymount house is separated from contemplative zone by a central spine acting as a clear definition which can be regulated to be either fully permeable or closed by means of fully retractable sliding doors.
