Tudor in the front, party in the back: the upper level of this charming Tudor revival bungalow in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood was well preserved, but the basement was mostly unfinished, except for a delightful bedroom outfitted like the captain’s quarters of a ship.
Within this oasis, we wanted to develop a home that both focuses on the connection between daily life and the green garden around the villa, as the value of this location with respect to the surrounded residents.
More than 200 inhabitants of the garden wake up with the first sunbeams: rhododendron, sakura, Japanese maples, firs, thuja, hydrangeas, and their relatives. Under the trees, there is an artificial lake with carps and turtle Vira.
El Nido House is built on a lot of 4.70 x 26.00 meters as a response to the needs of the users to have a space where experiences and ideas are generated, weaving together a pre-existing building with a completely new one
The Dragonfly Vacation house emphasizes the crossing point between these two ecological zones – a distinct yet subtle marker of the family’s presence and legacy.
The Kansas Ave Residence is layered with custom fabricated, warm walnut millwork deliberately set against the cool of the poured concrete floors and board-formed concrete door pocket.
