Hollywood Hills House was recently completed by Los Angeles-based Jac Interiors, a young team of designers and stylists. This fresh residence is situated in Hollywood Hills, California, United States.
Description by Jac Interiors: This home is located in the hippest Hollywood neighborhood, with incredible views of all LA and the glorious Chateau Marmont standing poised in the foreground. The homeowners are the young, into all the greatest, hottest restaurants, clubs and hotels type who love coming home now to their newly transformed abode.
BEFORE – Lots of extraneous, unnecessary wood work (this is a great way to “clean house” if you’re wanting to make a huge change without a lot of construction, simplify and take out decorative, unnecessary structural elements), ugly copper fireplace hood and hearth, old rickety doors and old wood floors. We normally love keeping old wood floors when we can, but we were going for a completely modern, fresh feel for this home, so switched it out – big time!
AFTER – New floors, new fireplace wall (we used three dimensional patterned panels and then painted them for one awesome surface texture effect), took out old built in bookcase/door to nowhere (more on this nook later!), new furniture, new glass stairway rail, new Deer Ingo chandelier… Again, this is just a sneak peak, there’s so much more to see and can’t wait to show you!
