Jardim Guedala House is a full renovation designed for a young couple in their early 40s with two children. He is a businessman, and she is a renowned jewelry designer. Known for entertaining friends and family, practicing sports, and maintaining an active lifestyle, the owners wanted a residence that reflects elegance, comfort, and integration. The project delivers all of this while embracing greenery and maximizing the house’s breathtaking views.
Concept and Design Approach
The renovation of Jardim Guedala House focused on timeless sophistication. Since the owners entertain often, the design team created spaces that are highly integrated, cozy, and chic. At the same time, the project emphasized natural materials—stone, wood, linen, silk straw, leather, suede, and lush greenery—ensuring a style both warm and refined.
Layout Transformation
This was not just a simple update but a complete structural renovation. All internal and external finishes were replaced, while new spaces were introduced, including a gym, sauna, spa, and studio. Existing areas were remodeled and redistributed to maximize comfort and flow. As a result, the house now supports both daily family life and large social gatherings.
Integration of Nature and Views
Enhancing the view was a central goal of the project. Green walls and abundant vegetation were incorporated throughout, creating an urban oasis. The sauna, placed in the garden with a direct view, reinforces the sense of tranquility and connection to nature. Even on a relatively compact plot, the design maximizes greenery to complement the home’s expansive interior.
Materials and Finishes
The owners admired the office’s signature style and requested natural, timeless materials. Stone clads the façade, while brass details add sophistication. Inside, wood and textiles such as linen and suede bring warmth and texture. These choices align with the family’s request for a chic yet comfortable residence, where natural materials create harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Conclusion
Jardim Guedala House combines lifestyle, elegance, and nature in a renovation that transforms a family residence into a timeless retreat. With its integration of greenery, thoughtful layout, and refined finishes, the house meets the owners’ desire for a chic, welcoming, and highly functional home. Ultimately, Jardim Guedala House is a model of contemporary living in São Paulo.
