REPII represents the second part of a project carried out by the Office years ago. The modular prefabricated construction helps to mitigate these factors, the house is built in a closed environment, away from climatic factors
Paddock house sits exposed cross-slope, in a field of rye grass amongst grazing cattle and kangaroos with distant valley views to the north. The house connects to these views via a series of framed apertures in the volume of the house.
The Barton Valley house is carefully sited among a stand of red oak trees at the edge of a grassy plain, and placed to capture dramatic views into the broad valley that was carved out by Barton Creek.
M4 House is the result of the rupture of the pure volumes regarding a strict sense of orientation. Located at the top of the land, you can see the forest of pines, oaks, and cedars that grow to the south, framing the views.
The Ghost Wash House is located along the lower hillside on the north side of Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The site is flanked by two desert washes that move storm water from the top of this urban mountain into the valley below.
