The design seeks a comfortable minimalism that combines the modern with the classic following the guidelines of sustainability and a healthy design. White tones predominate the space to achieve greater luminosity. Less is more is our philosophy, that is why the space is configured with four architectural details rigorously conceived.
The purpose of this project is a single family house. The program is developed in two levels – social spaces on the lower floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor.
Our project fully preserves the internal layout and marks the internal and external spaces, including elements of different scales, in order to redefine the hierarchies and the itineraries.
The design of this detached single-family house was commissioned to us by a couple with the dream of retirement living in the middle of nature.
A young family of four came to us to update an original 1950’s California Ranch home nestled above The Mesa. With a modest budget and an owner savvy in both construction and design, we were able to renovate the existing house and add an additional 600 SF
