Lluvia house is a single-family residence located in Jardines del Pedregal, in southern Mexico City. The site is between neighboring constructions in a residential area. One of its main features is that there is a lot of natural vegetation at the back of the site, which was an important asset in the project.
As the architectural approach concerns, the house is conceived as a solid volume that incorporates subtractions along the main axis in the form of small courtyards and double heights depending on the program. All this with the intention of bringing inside the house small sections of the forest-like garden and bringing in natural light among the different spaces of the house.
